Anyone with information pertaining to the whereabouts of Michael or Angela Yarnell is asked to contact the Morgan County Sheriff's Office at (573) 378-5481 extension 122.

The Morgan County Sheriff's Department is asking the public for help in locating a man recently named a "person of interest" in the case of his missing wife.

In a press release issued Wednesday (Nov 21, 2007) the department said they are seeking to find Michael Shane Yarnell, 38, for questioning in the disappearance of his wife more than four years ago.

Michelle "Angie" Yarnell was last seen in late October 2003 and was filed as a missing person shortly after by her mother, Marianne Asher-Chapman.

Authorities will not elaborate as to why they are looking for Yarnell. Det. J.D. Williams said they have an interest in speaking with Yarnell, but believe he has moved out of the area.

Hi Alan, didn't know you had this sight also! I'm also glad they are starting to investigate Angie's case, I miss her terribly, things like this just don't happen to people you know and love. Thinking back you know I was probably one of the last person's to see her alive and well. For Marrianne's sake I really hope this renewed investigation brings peace for her and all who loved Angie. For anyone reading this I want to tell you a little about Angie, she was pure joy to have in your life, there wasn't a time she came to visit without having a gift for me. It might just be a necklace she made, a plant she started but she always had something. Such a thoughtful person, this world needs more people in it like her. Hi Alan,I wanted to update you about my missing daughter's case.You know she's been gone for 63 months now? On Jan.4th,2009,I got "the call" I had learned to hope for. The police arrested Angie's husband, Michael Shane Yarnell. He did confess to killing her and he took the police to the location he said he put her. but her body wasn't,and still has'nt been found.It is so hard for me that I think I could just die of a broken heart.
